The initial consultation visit got you all excited about the transformation that will take place in your home. You want to experience the new space NOW! So what's happening at this point? Our designers enter the equation and begin the process of designing your very own Masterpiece. They utilize their artistry and skills to provide a state-of-the-art, 3-Dimensional rendering of your entire space. These renderings will show you exactly how things will look in every room from every angle. Night and day, rain, snow and sunshine - You can actually walk through your new space before the first nail has been hammered! Take this time to feel the magic of your new creation.
Take a Virtual Tour Before Any Work is Started
Once your design is finalized and the contract is signed, the real work begins! You'll be assigned a project manager who will be available to you. Then, architectural plans are drawn up, permits applied for, inspections scheduled, and designs submitted to the HOA. Let's not forget picking out types and colors of wood, stone, countertops, floors, ceiling, lights … all the fun stuff! This part of the process can seem to take a while, but don't despair. We're laying the foundation, if you will, that will help your project go as smoothly as possible. A healthy estimate for the timeframe between signing the contract and actual construction beginning at your home is about 12 weeks.
Work is about to begin when the dumpster and port-a-potty are delivered to your home — yay! We will have discussed with you the best place to have these necessities, and as you now know that work is starting, you will be very excited to see them. Once construction has commenced, we'll be in touch with you regarding the timing of sub-contractors and who to expect and when. Our "subs" are very cognisant of your home and family and as such, will always leave your workspace as tidy as possible at the end of each day.
One day, you'll wake up and think, "Something good is happening today." Suddenly, you'll remember that TODAY is the day your job is complete! It's a lovely feeling. Once the construction and final cleanup have finished, we'll call for final inspections and schedule a time to have a thorough walk-through with you in order to create a "punch-list." This is a list of those small things that need to be done in order to achieve your complete satisfaction. Once those details are finished, the job officially closes.
