Background

The Whife family purchased this older home in a great neighborhood because of its amazing views and the family-friendly atmosphere.

After reaching out to Masterpiece Outdoorliving, the Whife’s quickly saw their home’s true potential and knew their dream home was within reach.

The Vision

The goals were to remodel the inside kitchen, living room, and basement so all three spaces integrated seamlessly with an entirely new Four Season Outdoor Living Space.

Beginning in the kitchen, the new vision came together to feature several features that created immense benefit. One of those was a convenient dumb waiter that could transport food and beverages to the lower level. And another was a large opening to bring the indoor and outdoor kitchens together.

Next up was designing the living room and main outdoor space into one beautiful space. This was accomplished by using the same light-toned flooring in both areas in addition of two large operable glass doors.

And to finish up the main level of this custom deck was the addition of a semi-private seating area complete with a built-in pergola and railing-side bar top.

Beyond the essentials, several creature comforts were added to enhance the space that include:

  • Wireless speakers and sound system
  • Brand new luxury outdoor furniture
  • Dimmable Recessed lighting
  • Sturdy Glass & metal railings

But that’s not all, there are still two levels of outdoor living space to explore!

Moving into the basement level, the outdoor space features a masonry-backed, fully-stocked, bar area complete with a private climate-controlled wine room.

There is also a second dining area with a built-in buffet with lots of storage and floor-to-ceiling operable glass walls to keep out wind and weather.

And finally, since this is a family home, every parent knows being able to have a quiet hideaway can be the best part of any home. So that is why we created a top, third-level on this home that leads directly into the main bedroom.
